Alex Manyasi,Advocacy and Knowledge Management Specialist, APHRC

Alex is a Policy and advocacy Specialist, supporting governments to think through policy challenges, policy review and implementation. His responsibilities include evidence generation, harnessing the knowledge available at APHRC, and the sector and supporting governments to maximize the knowledge for policy input. Alex has made significant contributions to the policy and business environment  through numerous memberships on boards and committees, and on the global platforms, especially in the water, sanitation and hygiene space, including social justice. He is driven by the desire to contribute to the policy environment in Africa, creating an environment where service delivery is enhanced, while leaving no one behind. Alex is currently finalising his Ph.D. in Leadership and Governance at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
