    Wycliffe Mwanzi, Access to Finance Lead, USAID Western Kenya Sanitation Project

    Wycliffe provides leadership on the Access to Finance
    initiatives for Western Kenya Sanitation Project. He is
    the former East Africa Regional Lead for Take-a-Stake
    initiative (TAS), a WASH impact investment fund which is
    an initiative of WASTE NL. Mr. Mwanzi is an expert in
    micro-finance, as well as business development and
    financial modelling in the WASH sector. Wycliffe
    supported the innovative Sanitation financing for Finish
    Mondial program, identifying and providing capacity
    building to partner financial institutions as well as WASH
    entrepreneurs.
    Wycliffe has over 15 years’ experience in banking and
    microfinance having worked as the CEO of Daraja
    Microfinance Bank, Head of Microbanking at Family Bank
    and Sidian Bank among others. While at the banks, he
    was tasked with implementation of the WASH
    partnership programs.
    Wycliffe has a degree in Economics and Mathematics
    from the University of Nairobi as well as several
    certificates in banking and microfinance.
